At the moment, Grove and Strathpeffer are adopting the concept of S-Class for next year. There is still a little work to do, but hopefully by the end of Winter (my timeframe!) all the details will be ironed out. A list of individuals and/or clubs interested on the Sporting Class website (or via PM) would be appreciated.
We would still like input regarding CoF, teams etc - see Ovenpaa's and my last posts.

I am just adding an update to
http://sporting-class.com discussing the CoF mostly musings discussing the way different clubs work and proposals for a more common shooting and scoring format.
Any input is very welcome.

Yes, I should pull my finger out and add something - might do a write up about my choice of cartridge.

You were talking about team sizes before - could this not be done the same way as leagues...in that, if one club only has 3 or 4 people interested, then that would be their 'A' team...and if another club had a dozen of so interested members, then they could field A, B, C and D teams......?

I know logistically it would be a headache!! - but why not try and arrange 4 matches next season - something to get it going for real - bit like the PR league - which is run at 4 different venues? (Well Bisley twice!) Bangor and Diggle.

Shugie,
If the T3 comes in at 6Kgs with a Harris type bipod and a 12X 'scope then it is perfectly suited.

I have just touted this idea at my club. TBH F class leaves me cold!
However S class is more club shooter orientated and cheaper to do.
Half of my club own various sporter rifles,AW`S,Custom remington`s,Steyr`s,Sako`s etc.
We are also close to Bisley and shoot there as a club once a month or more.
I am sure we can get 4 or 5 people interested.
This could be the boot up the arse for me to get a suitable rifle as I might struggle with my schmidt rubin!
I would like to see what the course of fire is and the type of targets.
I did look on the S class website but couldnt see any info or just missed it!
