Every FAC holder is aware of his / her limits on ammunition storage.
This rule is exactly the same for personnel who habitually go armed as part of their legal profession other than service personnel actually within a recognised war zone In a past life I could never get enough spare ammo over and above my 120 rounds and I habitually carried at least another 100 whilst 'on the ground'.
BUT .... this world of regulation is the world we live in now and sure, we don't have to like it but make no mistake ... this is the real world and if you bend the rules you can expect to get shafted (no matter who you are). There have been enough examples in the press recently.
Notwithstanding any of the above, let's be nice to each other eh?
