Re: still in service...
ah ok, i can see it as an axe now :)
When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns
Re: still in service...
Specifically it looks like one of Gerber's smaller offerings. Some even come with a knife in the handle -- so a short axe, already more dangerous than a long one, can have the bonus of a knife flying out at an inopportune moment. All in a conveniently black package, which helps you not see it in reduced lighting conditions until it bites you.

STG 44, not in Syria but this time in Novorossiya, so most probably a "good one" left over from the Great Patriotic War.

Depends on condition, barrel may be like a sewer pipe.If a certain dealer was selling it they'd probably want a small fortune for it!.I would say there's a possibility it's a genuine sniper as the Soviets still issued the PU sniper to some Spetsnaz and VDV marksmen during the Soviet-Afghan conflict along with the SVD and I wouldn't imagine your average Taliban would be trawling Ebay for cheap Chinese copies of PU scopes.Sixshot6 wrote:snayperskaya wrote:

How do you tell an original russian PU from the POSP modern variants if I may ask?snayperskaya wrote:Depends on condition, barrel may be like a sewer pipe.If a certain dealer was selling it they'd probably want a small fortune for it!.I would say there's a possibility it's a genuine sniper as the Soviets still issued the PU sniper to some Spetsnaz and VDV marksmen during the Soviet-Afghan conflict along with the SVD and I wouldn't imagine your average Taliban would be trawling Ebay for cheap Chinese copies of PU scopes.Sixshot6 wrote:snayperskaya wrote:
