Nice way to dodge the multiply requested statistics!
That'll because there are none Fedaykin.
Same in the UK when they cite "shootouts in Tesco and traffic accidents! as a reason for gun control and no armed self defense in the UK

- ALLtheir excuses and "reasons" are pure liberal claptrap fantasy and nonsense but hey, why would they let their pig ignorance get in the way of facts!

Not to labor an old point Chuck but:
1) We are allowed to use armed defense in the UK if it is proportional
2) Considering the path to restore pistols to UK sport shooting is virtually closed due to the lack of political support calling for concealed carry is frankly a pointless exercise
3) The level of violent crime in the UK as a proportion of all crime is too low to justify Concealed Carry

Considering the path to restore pistols to UK sport shooting is virtually closed due to the lack of political support etc... etc...
That is because the old anti-gun Lib-Labour-Dem-Tory mafia keeps its old boys' monopol in Westminster. A UKIP break-through would make the situation very different. Granted, it is probably as remote as CC ever being allowed in the UK

(but we are NOT now allowed to carry defensive weapons)
2) Considering the path to restore pistols to UK sport shooting is virtually closed due to the lack of political support calling for concealed carry is frankly a pointless exercise
(not calling for it but when it WAS mooted that is the stupid response to a petition)
3) The level of violent crime in the UK as a proportion of all crime is too low to justify Concealed Carry
(That's just NOT an argument whatsoever mate) National crime rate is NOT a guide as to the necessity of a firearm or not: the chances are you COULD be a victim and so should have the inalienable INDIVIDUAL CHOICE and RIGHT to carry a defensive weapon.
Anyway, point is ALL these excuses made up by the gun grabbers are just horse poo. I think we can agree on that?

All very well being allowed to use armed defence but moot point as we are not allowed to carry ANY article for self defence. So, how do you use a firearm for self defence if you cannot carry it for that purpose ?
Even at home, its locked away so not exactly an option. Unless, on your way home from the rifle range, you get approached by a ruffian and have time to open your rifle case, grab the rifle, get some rounds assuming you have not used them all at the club, load up a magazine and start defending yourself........

Sorry chuck I just don't agree, this is a British shooting forum and the antis in this country read it as do Continuity ACPO and other organisations keen to grab our guns so to say. British shooters calling for self defence with guns WILL be used as ammunition against us.
1) We are allowed to use armed defense in the UK if it is proportional (but we are NOT now allowed to carry defensive weapons) Which is a good thing the level of crime in this country does not warrant defensive carry of weapons
2) Considering the path to restore pistols to UK sport shooting is virtually closed due to the lack of political support calling for concealed carry is frankly a pointless exercise (not calling for it but when it WAS mooted that is the stupid response to a petition) Not entirely sure what point you are making here, nevertheless it is futile calling for it due to the political situation and no UKIP a one issue party will never see the power to change that
3) The level of violent crime in the UK as a proportion of all crime is too low to justify Concealed Carry (That's just NOT an argument whatsoever mate) National crime rate is NOT a guide as to the necessity of a firearm or not: the chances are you COULD be a victim and so should have the inalienable INDIVIDUAL CHOICE and RIGHT to carry a defensive weapon. It is absolutely a valid argument, we have been down this "What if" rabbit hole before Chuck, National crime rates are absolutely a valid indicator of need. Crime is low in this country, using the "What if" argument will carry little to no weight with the vast majority of the public and the politicians that represent them. A meteorite COULD hit me on the head, does that mean I should wear a four inch steel plate on my head all times?
We are a tiny minority of the population Chuck greatly misunderstood by the general public, there is no support for what you want to any significant scale and the actual general response from most people will be "We don't want to be like America".
I know this is a hang up for you Chuck but fight the battles we have a chance winning.
