All very well being allowed to use armed defence but moot point as we are not allowed to carry ANY article for self defence. So, how do you use a firearm for self defence if you cannot carry it for that purpose ?Fedaykin wrote:Not to labor an old point Chuck but:
1) We are allowed to use armed defense in the UK if it is proportional
2) Considering the path to restore pistols to UK sport shooting is virtually closed due to the lack of political support calling for concealed carry is frankly a pointless exercise
3) The level of violent crime in the UK as a proportion of all crime is too low to justify Concealed Carry
10 internet points for using the word 'ruffian'. clapclapbreacher wrote:All very well being allowed to use armed defence but moot point as we are not allowed to carry ANY article for self defence. Even at home, its locked away so not exactly an option. Unless, on your way home from the rifle range, you get approached by a ruffian and have time to open your rifle case, grab the rifle, get some rounds assuming you have not used them all at the club, load up a magazine and start defending yourself........
