Is that all you going to say. At least contribute to the discussion a bit.
Sorry, too busy laughing.
Well, please add something more than expressing laughter. Like a reason that is concrete for why you feel this way.

No definatley laughing.
Enlighten us all what is so funny, or are you just trolling.
Well, I can't see anything funny. To a lot of the ex-service members on here, their service weapons (and they were weapons in those situations), was a serious matter that they work and do what was intended. Plus people who are students of history wan't to discuss what went wrong, who messed it up and anything else. I can't see what is so funny. In essence it would be nice if the guy stopped acting like a troll, contributed and said something constructive. If he can't do any of those things he should just leave and take his crap elsewhere.

Thanks, he's the second troll I've dealt with this weekend or at least maybe one. I'm being very polite with JohnMH, trying to avoid the urge to snap as probably others are doing.

This tread is amusing me because it's not really based on any fact or real user experience. Everybody is entitled to an opinion and I'm entitled to be amused by them.

Are you a troll yourself?

In what manner have you been dealing with trolls since you've been on this forum?

This thread is almost as amusing as the one about Unicorns but I don't post in those as I just get a laugh watching them develop, anyway I've been shooting all weekend with a couple of Queens Medalist who also think this is a funny thread.

Funny thread, it's hilarious. Far too many armchair warriors about. Good afternoon shooting yesterday John.

It is based on well documented facts, and users opinions and experiences, more so than a lot of posts that just are peoples opinions. I guess some people are easily amused.

And your point, does that make their opinion somehow superior to the rest of us.

Well repeating the same thing near enough for several post's does not adhere you to others and thanks for finally contributing something now. Some people do have experience here and others are reiterating what the Last Enfield stated, which is a well researched book and written by people way smarter than any of us here. And I was referring to another Forum. Glad you had nice shooting.

But please Add something a bit different in future. Rather than 3 or 4 posts of virtually the same thing.

Who posting in this thread has actually used an L85A2 and by that I meN has fired in excess of 10000 rounds through one or seen in excess of 250000 rounds fired through a batch of 15 rifles?
