[quote="pe4king"]Well at last here is the rifle I have been selling everything for.
Specs are Tikka T3 Varmint .260 Remington in a GRS sporter / varmint stock, 20moa rail with Weaver tactical rings, scope is a Leupold Mk4 8.5 -25, CPG Design slotted muzzle brake
The only thing left to do is the bottom metal mag conversion

Out of interest where did you get the rifle from?
I was going this route but could not find a T3 Varmint in 260 anywhere.
I was told it was a special order and it is listed as such by Tikka.
How does it shoot?
That is also the stock I would have gone for.

Got the rifle from Fenland rural sports, I too was going to order one new but was told 6 to 8 months lead time, so started looking and found this one and jumped on it that's why all of my lesser used guns were sacrificed, yes they are a rare beast indeed and this one had seen little use.
It is shooting Ok (around 1 moa) at the moment and too be honest I am a little disappointed with it, mainly from all the good things I have heard about the calibre, however the main problems I have encountered is it is a new calibre to me so a longish learning curve is foreseeable, and secondly a problem with my lee scales which I have to add have served me well for the last 7 years so will be retired and replaced with something more high tech.
So all of the load testing I have done so far will be re-shot.
And as for the stock they are fantastic I would highly recommend them.
I would say keep your eye on the Tikka website they are releasing a new rifle later this year with .260 as a standard calibre with a 10 rd box mag.

Just picked this up today for the boy, this was the fruit of selling his ISSC, with a bit of financing from me as usual, anyway it is a Highland Arms Ogar which is basically a permanently converted .22lr VZ58 it is one heavy chunk of metal (and plastic) it came with the basic issue bakalite grip and forend this was swapped with a full set from C.A.A. much more in the boys taste.
It was supplied by William Evans at Bisley, service you could only dream of and for those interested they have plenty of them

With the upgrades less than £600, list price on the rifle as issued £499
And the service, well you would have thought I was buying a pair of best English shotguns, nothing was too much trouble.
Just got to see how it performs now, I'm told they perform flawlessly with standard velocity ammunition
