Rules, right chaps shall we take this to the next level, get some basic rules laid down and sort a comp out? I am of the opinion that everyone should be eligible first time out as long as they are shooting within the spirit of the class however 10Kg SAUM Wildcats and 80X 'scopes are going to be frowned upon tongueout

I think my scope might be pushing it a bit, however, I would be more than willing to only use it up to a maximum magnification if that would be considered more sporting... say 12x?

The maximum scope magnification was upped to x14 a few posts back, if that helps?

I think my scope goes to 30x... or more... I don't remember... a lot more than the "limit" in here though...

of course you could all just stick to a 6x scope like I did at the McQueens last year ;)

then I might have a chance of not coming last tongueout

Attached is a brief overview as I see it as I would like to get this kicked off so we can start doing something competition wise.

The document is for discussion and you are welcome to email me (David at shootingshed.co.uk) with suggestions and observation and I will update the document. Once we have the basics in place it can be fleshed out. Shall we say 14 days to get this part agreed and then lets get a competition under way.

I would suggest a couple of test meetings for 2012 and then start a league for 2013. None eligible shooters are more than welcome to come and make up the numbers however their scores will not be included in the official results (Non official score sheets are acceptable)

Remember this is S Class - Sporter class and as such is for Sporting, Hunting and Stalking type rifles.

Yup, got it and there are some good points that I will add to the next revision. Anyone else have something to add or is it just Sandgroper at this stage?
