Dougan.

I am an NRA member and have not had replies to my last 3 emails!
The only person at the NRA who replies to emails promptly and with the answers is Iain R.

My apologies Dougan, I thought you meant the NRA that actually cares about it's membership and looks out for the rights and interests of it's membership by not ignoring them and such, the one that does promote and support all shooting disciplines regardless of geographical location in the country. The one that doesn't let the government do what it wants to do without a fight.

However to answer your question the answer to that would be no. Why? Does my location matter in some way? Or perhaps there is some point you are trying to make by asking your question.

Mike, by not replying to you they probably thought that was an adequate response and required no further reply :good:

I'm getting fed up with nra bashing that is the us nra bashing Im getting fed up with ! I was reading an new article from some crappy rag where the jurno was interviewing someone high up in the UK nra about shooting sports and this arse hole said that he the us nra made him sick to his stomach! What a cretein ! The UK nra needs to join forces with the US nra after all we share the same name at one time shared the same principles when to came the right to arms as once was garateed by our (UK) bill of rights which the U.S. 2nd amendment was inspired from ! (How many UK sheeple know that) if the UK nra were anything like the us nra we would still have semi auto rifles and most certainly our handguns !
It is the UK nra that's making me sick into my stomach!!! I'm really beginning to think that UK nra is in league with gun control network et al and the government to disarm us !

I take your point Joe but I don't think anyone here was bashing the US NRA, thanks for the support though and I agree that as well as sharing the NRA name we should also be supporting each other.

Just a quick question if I may to anyone who cares to answer. Is the CEO of the UK NRA and elected position?

from what i know ( could be wrong) the head of the NRA is elected but i dont think the general (the great unwashed) membership can take part in voting ?? just the board of trustees etc and off course whatever lodge that NRA belongs too
