Back on topic, you need a FAC for an air rifle in this part of the UK I don't have a problem with that. But I can see why others would if you didn't need a FAC and they were changing the law to require one.

What's being proposed is a totally new level of administration...with HIGHER proposed fees (£20 for visitor permit - yet a EUROPEAN Firearms PASSPORT is FREE) than the present fees levels.

ONCE (not IF) passed, it will make it easier & cheaper to apply for an SGC than the new AirWEAPON(for the children)Certificate

The SNP are ON RECORD that this will be THE START...never mind that 90% of Scots are not in favour, nor are Police Scotland, nor are the responsible shooters...and the IRRESPONSIBLE shooters will not bother obeying laws after the change, in the same way they currently ignore the laws they choose to take no notice of

The trouble is, very few people give a toss about any form of shooting in Scotland, the largely ignorant SNP voters see the "End Austerity" nonsense, jump abound and think its good times all the way with the SNP.

Quite right Chuck, on that subject, we allow our Ship building industry to die on its arse, while Scotland gets all the plumb contracts, Aircrat Carrier, Type 26 FSC (at least 13 to build) etc...

Why for gods sake .... to appease a Scottish parliament that seems to actively despise the Westminster Government
