The thing with roll crimping is that you can use any old cases new or fired and not worry about case lengths, wad heights and such. Just chuck the first one in the drill press and set the stop once you've got the desired height then do all the rest.

Getting a star crimp right can be a right faff and if you get it wrong it's easy to make the cartridge oversize and cause feed failures.

No, Sweet cheeks, they were cr@p! Thankfully, found out before dropping a hundred quid on moulds and handles!

Did however, get hold of the Lee 7/8oz slug that I'm going to drive a bit faster and hopefully will fly flatter out to 200.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

I've only just started loading slug,i'm using 7/8 and 1 oz lee slug and a lee load all jnr.Only done thirty so far,still experimenting.

Yeah I would be interested too as i too have the 1oz slug mold and lee loadall 2 and now I have my Fac through with slugs on I can finally start making some.

Fiochi cases, CCI primers, WAA12SL equivilents by Claybuster and either Accurate #5 or Green Dot.
