That is simply stunning!
Mines a little pitted but I'm cool with that but yours is obviously a keeper by those dates on those photo's!! There's not a hope in hell that I'll ever sell mine. Love having something with history to it and to be honest it makes me feel quite cold to my dedicated Target Rifle.
I think my love affair with Mauser's has started!
Anyone else like to share a few photo's of they're Gew 98's??

Not up to now Martin but my club does book field firing ranges so I may do in the future.

Droomie was a jammy bastid when he got his G98, I was after that one myself and he still rubs it into my nose to this day!

Yours looks in superb condition though Joe! It's going to a 600yd rifle for me max I think! Anything over that with iron sights and my eyes God knows where I'd be!!
