Deer Stalking… reliable word of mouth recommendation from someone you know has undertaken such stalking being offered by a specific syndicate is best. Like other walks of life, stalking has its scammers. E.G., make sure there is deer, of the species sought, on the land being made available; that appropriate insurance is in place; that there is recourse for recompense if it all goes wrong. In addition, obtain and understand terms and conditions; consider the implications of allowing a syndicate leader to be a FAC mentor; make sure ‘coaches’ are suitably qualified; consider the quality of deer management, the construction & execution of a shooting plan and safety; determine if the land is over-shot.

If in doubt, contact BASC or similar.

Not as easy and straight forward as that. Have the equipment, but a very exposed garden and newish neighbours prevents actually using it.

Trap it and shot it. Use a shopping trolley for a trap and the ground as a back stop. Warn the neighbours first.

Not when you don't want your neighbours knowing you own guns.

Just tell them you have a professional varminting person coming around and then do it yourself. In the early hours they will never know.
One question that puzzles me, why don't you want them to know you own guns? None of my business, if you don't want to say, but just puzzled.

Snaring used to be effective for foxes in places where shooting wasn't practical. No doubt it is illegal now. Wouldn't want to hurt the cuddly old loveable, flea and disease ridden, scavenging, stinking charlie now would we.

We live on a busy main road and don't get on with the neighbours. One side, lets just say are not from this continent and have lots of people "staying" with them. We are never sure if they are in as they never put lights on and don't even answer the door to the police.
The other side we just don't see eye to eye with. (A long story).
We just don't think it is a good idea to broadcast that there are firearms on the premises.

Snaring around gardens with cats...think about it.
