Repainting a McMillan Stock

I spotted someone in Poland selling the film this morning at a very good price however you would need the activator as well and I am not sure if they stocked it.

I have seen a rifle that I might buy which is in a light camo pattern finished McMillan A3 stock, is it possible to doa proper job of repainting it?

What rifle? MAY be easier to sell the current stock & buy another one - or do a trade...
