Ah, that's what it is - before getting a second cabinet, I found that you could get more in by putting some muzzle down - this seemed to work well...is that because they have negative and positive poles?

You Load your own, unless you are lucky enough to find some Greek HXP from 68 or 73. In my opinion there is no decent factory made .303 any more. Privi and S&B will shoot ok out to 300yds (thats if holding the black is your goal, I like to hold the bull) but past that handloads are the only way to go. HPS sell .303 loaded with the Sierra 174 Match king but its nearly the same price as their .308.
My Winchester P14 will hold the bull at 900yds with handloads using the Sierra 174 Matchking or the Hornady 174 match bullet. I've tried Privi and S&B out to 800yds and to be honest it was a waste of time as they would only just hold the target screen.
A decent P14 should hold 2MOA and that is better than most SMLE's and No4s that are usually 2-4 MOA.

In my P14 I use 43g of TR140 behind a 174 SMK. This load is safe in my P14 but I would not use that high a load in a No4 or SMLE. I've tried N140 but for long range in .303 could not get consistant results. N150 may work better than N140 for long range with 174 gr bullets. Brass is HXP that has been reloaded several times and only neck sized. Use my load data with caution and use normal procedures for working up loads.
