I'll try it again tomorrow but I'm not hopeful......
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I own an Eotech 511, 522 and 553 - much prefer them to aimpoint, just personal preference I guess. The reticle can be a little fuzzy, but if you turn the brightness down a bit it should be okay.

I've only ever used a cheap knock off magnifier with the 511, and while the X3 scope itself was okay the mount was rubbish and led to all sorts of problems. I've been looking at the Mako X3 magnifiers, not too expensive (compared to Eotechs version) and there are one or two positive reviews out there.

I use Eotechs and they are ok, but I prefer the Aimpoint H1 with a 2 moa dot. I wouldn't use a magnifier with either. If I had a need for magnification I would have a 1-4x scope instead.
