I downloaded the Shooter app on my Galaxy II and after checking the quoted elevations given against actual up to 1000yds, they were within 1/2 moa, so pretty damn accurate and would get you on target.

I gave in and just downloaded the Shooter App as well and first impressions are rather good.

Sean Kindy's Shooter gets my vote, very accurate and useable.
Can I plug my own app ? If its not the done thing, delete my post please.
My app is not a ballistic app, its for recording & analysing target strings.
