Silhouette bullets are designed to have enough weight and be driven at sufficient velocities to knock down the various steel silhouette plates in the competition. Cast bullet silhouette designs are usually long bore riders with a throat filling driving section to help get good boolit fit for high velocities and the long bore riding nose also helps add weight.
