A quick trip to the range this wet and windy morning with some test loads from 5.1 - 5.8 grains on A range Melville 25 or 30 yards. Looking at the brass it was all OK for pressure with the lower loads not sealing in the chamber. It was not until I fired the factory ammunition that I realised how violent it was compared to these rounds.
I think I will stick with the 5.8, the last picture is 5 x factory rounds for comparison.

Well, regardless of the opinion that Unique was not a favoured powder in 9mm, the results are non too shabby!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Really? Now that is a surprise. I do know that if you find the sweet spot with Unique, it can give fantastic performance. But in the two cartridges I now use it in, it really is dirty.......

Accurate, clean and over 1200 rounds a tub, what's not to like! :good:

TiteGroup, over 1600 rounds a tub :)

10 rounds at 25m (fairly rapid rate of fire)

Sim,

I take it back - just noticed after picking up my brass that my hands were black. The cases are very dirty.

Nice group though - 20 rounds from sitting:
