Left hand Rem 700 action, Lilja barrel (the only place that could do a quality .45 barrel that Mik was happy with) and it's going to be a bit of a black rifle with the MDT TAC-21 chassis holding it together.

Mainly for indoor 25m and outdoor 100m (that's all I've got access too in Northampton) although I fancy a trip to a longer range to see how far it can lob the 230gn bullets I've picked up...

Need to find some glass for it that won't break the bank too much but got plenty of time for that while the wait for the barrel is on.

That sounds refreshingly different, very good indeed. You could always come and plink with us at Grove for the longer stuff

Had a result this morning, the rest of the .45 mags I'd ordered from the USA have just turned up. Cliff's Gunsmithing does it again party2 , now what to order next.....

800/1000 and 1200, the 45ACP might struggle however I am sure you could find something else to shoot with

Well FAC received yesterday, but it looks like I won't be making Bisley unless some miracle happens. Real PITA since I was hoping to meet some of you guys, pick up some brass, ammo and other goodies as well as filling a slot.
