I prescribe that you go and fondly stroke some wood stocked, bolt action, real rifles with some age and history to them 'till you recover your senses. fingerscrossed

Saw this at the IWA review in November last year. Really torn over it, I really want one as it's the closest I'll ever get to owning an StG, but it is a GSG product. Having said that, my GSG5-SD is pretty reliable with decent ammo and a good, thorough clean every now and then. As far as I know, the Tunnel is going to be importing these after York Guns fell out with GSG and they should be available next month.

Really want some more news on GSG's prototype MP40 as well, surely there's a large market for replica WWII small arms? I would have thought that it wouldn't be too difficult to adapt the GSG mechanism to fit a Tommy, Sten and PPSh-41 as well

Tommys occasionally pop up in .22LR, if you want a new PPSh replica - sub £400 Puma with 50rd drum.....

Like the idea of .22RF WW2 guns, .22 mag would also be kinda good.

"replica" would be pushing the term somewhat with regard to the above!

Too right, seen loads of these, second hand down to under £200, but they're not really a replica
