i like it as a lube. i put all my cases in a plastic bag and pour in some of the mix, give it a shake about then pour the fluid back into the can. put the cases in a block then after the alcohol has evaporated they are ready to go.

but i always wash the cases off in hot water and washing up liquid afterwards.

OK I've asked a couple of people I know who use the anhydrous for a spray lube if:

a) Does it separate out if stored?

and

b) Does it remix easily with shaking the bottle?

The answers are:

a) To some extent

and

b) Yes


To mix gently heat the lanolin and add the carrier.

Recipe 1 part lanolin to 10 parts carrier, I've thinned it down to 1-16 and it still works fine.
