I use moly coated 155 Scenar's as we already have to coat for Christel's 22C, the moly coating will probably drop the MV by around 10-12fps for a typical load behind 155's and unless you have a strong desire to run full case capacity for some reason or can get the bullets cheap you are probably as well off using normal 155 Laps or SMK's

So what reloading book would people recommend? I'm confident in the actual reloading technique, I'd use it more for the technical data.

I think a reloading buddy that you can talk to may be more use than a book. Most clubs have a couple of re loaders that are considered trustworthy and this forum has a few that can be trusted as well. Not forgetting your "dealer" as well, mine was very helpful when starting out and was prepared to check over my empty cases for signs of pressure and kept me straight.

I still have this concern about you using N140 re loading data with T140. T140 is not the same powder as N140

Not sure my local dealer is that familiar with reloading! They have (most of) the kit but as for the actual process... Hmm!

What would you recommend I use for reloading data then? As far as I'm aware, there isn't any reload data for it! A google search shows a lot of videos from PE4King and not much else!

Personally If there is no re loading data for it then I would never buy it and the dealer who sold you it with out being able to supply you with re loading data is not the sort of person you should be dealing with.
Buy Vitavouri N140 get there reloading manual. Reload lots of info. Job done.
Ask me questions about Vitavouri powders not a problem I can help you. In fact ask me a question about any of the major Powder manufacturers and I could probably help but T140 sorry no.
T140 I can not find any info on so I can not help you my freind. Sorry.
My advice is take it back to were ever you bought it and exchange it for a tub of Vitavouri N140.
Before you do any thing else.

Have you tried contacting TR140's importer?, I believe it's Nigel Cole-Hawkins of the North London RC.

I'm using TR140 in my .308 with excellent results, I'm using 41gr with the Nosler CC 168gr which is 1gr more than the VitN140 I was using with the Hornady A-Max 168gr.

If it is Nigel, he is a decent bloke and I suspect will be happy to help.

The NRA membership department might forwardcan email for you.

DO NOT use this powder until you have the data.

Where are you based?

If you are desperate to do some reloading, get an experienced reloader to spend an hour or two with you. Most of us will be delighted to help.

Edit. PM sent

Reloading data for TR140 can be obtained from commonside@compuserve.com. Just e-mail and ask for the data.
