Thank you all, very much.

The day started badly with the car refusing to start. **** This was frustrating (understatement! :cool2: ) as Adam and I had arranged for a days shooting and my son was devastated at the thought of not being able to go. It picked up when the local garage fixed it (free of change - it pays to keep on their good side! :good: )

With the car now fixed, we headed up to Brora and had a great afternoon shooting. We shot 22lr (my Henry L/A and Adam's No9), my 9mm Destroyer, my Winchester (357 Mag) and Adam's 303 Long Lee. Also got my hands on some of his collection (envious - not much! )

All in all it turned out to be a great day. many thanks to Adam for making us so welcome and for a great afternoon shooting. :shakeshout:

No. My temporary fix for the firing pin spring - was temporary!

So I'm going to have to buy some more belleville washers and then lots of fun!

Glad you had a good day - eventually. I suppose, it was Fri 13th
