Still rattled from the Steyr? :run:
Sandgroper, I would never do your Steyr the disservice of blaming it for my mental state, even though in retrospect, it may have been the primary cause. I mean it must have been the 5 rounds from it, couldn't possibly be the 40+ from my wee darling

As for the email 'coding' I don't know if it is entirely successful in combatting mining bots, but it can't do any harm. My pet peeve is people who send a group email to a mailing list, thereby giving out everyone's email address. So much easier to send email to yourself and put the list in the BCC slot.

Off for my cocoa now...... with a side-order of a wee malt

Is there any other kind? I'm lucky enough to live in the heart of malt country and spoiled for choice.

Posted cheque on Wed, today poor wee postie stuggles up with a heavy parcel. Excellent service and excellent products. The Martini Henry ones came all nicely packed in a MTM case and pre-patched (I knew they were designed for patching, but thought I'd have to have the fun of that). Looking forward to seeing how they shoot tomorrow.

Flat based 303's look really good too, though their debut will have to wait a few weeks.

Thanks again to all who helped me track down BES sign92

Just a point of clarification, technically if your Martini is shooting .303 then it is either a Martini Metford or a Martini Enfield depending on the rifling. The Henry rifling was for the 577/450 BP cartridge.

If it is a 303 with Henry rifling then that would be quiet an unusual rifle.

Mine is a Martini Enfield denoted by the "E" stamped on the knoxform
