Well my chief anodiser and trainee polisher is a foreigner however we have agreed to use English as the first language.

As I've said to you before, the OAL you did for me is way better than the ones from another 'well known brand'

And your customer service (answers to queries in minutes sometimes!) is second to non...your packaging and postal assistant doesn't do a bad job either :P

I went self employed 01/01/96. Best thing I ever did. Principally as there is very definitely NO office politics.

there have been good times, bad times, brilliant times etc etc, but NO office politics and arguments with small minded numpties = wonderful!!

Incidentally, I had a similar jobcentre experience following redundancy at age 45 in the late 80's. After six months of signing on, I was called in for interrogation as they felt I wasn't making sufficient effort to find work............(it was a good summer, and I had a new bicycle).
The advisor opened this huge file and asked me what I did before my redundancy. When I replied, he looked at me for a minute, then closed the file and said "Thank you, see you in six months".

Nothing glamorous..................... I was an industrial chemist.

I wish you every success. One wet saturday last July I cobbled up a bipod from some old scrap bits laying around my workshop and have used it ever since. I have had dozens of people asking if I would make them one - and mine is nothing near as professionally manufactured or finished as yours. Clearly there is a market for them and I am sure that once they are seen on the line you will do well.
