Hopefully the pics will come out ok...i purchased the k31 from krank's a while back tongueout I homeload for it and have used the Gp11 also....i am always interested if some pops up (C&G did say at Bisley that he's waiting for a delivery to clear customs in the next few weeks) :shifty:
Re: Another Schmidt Rubin
Crikey, that is as good a K31 as I have ever seen
Re: Another Schmidt Rubin
that is very nice, was it police issue? It looks to have seen very little use if at all.

Re: Another Schmidt Rubin
very nice looking rifle, 1947 manufacture judging by the serial number, has the finish been painted? I only ask because it seems more of a black than a blued finish?
Re: Another Schmidt Rubin
I was very fortunate when i phoned up kranks that he said he had one better than the others in a batch he had just received.....i asked to put my name on it but i had no idea about the condition. I was honestly expecting a beat up k31 with teeth marks, worn metal, name tag et al! so imagine my surprise when i first saw it.
The wear on the rifle is what i've done to it - the mag was mint inside and out and the wood work wasnt dented or marked. The bolt had no wear on it also. I honestly thought (and still do think that it was a refurb) i mean, what's it been doing for so long without being used??
I've seen one exactly the same but that was on a website in the states.
