wots a mikmak? Sounds like a supermarket own-brand version of NikNaks!
I'd err on the side of caution with ANY info - LOTS of new powder
(from otherwise unknown markets/companies/countries) is coming on the scene in the last 2 or 3 years, some with tall-tales added to try to increase sales, etc.
I have no reason to not take what Brian said as gospel - have dealt with him long enough

If it is N140 or very close to then TR140 should be ideal for .303 - I would start off with a sensible load, maybe 37 grains and work up slowly. If it is the same as N140 then anywhere from 39.5 to 41.0 grains seems to be the ideal load, my preference for N140 is at the lower end of this range and it works very well for me.

I have used TR140 in .303 loads currently I am loading 33gr of it with a 210 cast boolit from Rog it works fine in my Martini Enfield and seems to match the drops on my sights so im happy with it.

Nice to hear you are happy with the boolits - do you know what velocity you are getting with the 33gr load?

Hiya Watcher,
I'm getting good results at 200 yards with my smle, using 39gn of N140 behind a 174gn HPBT bullet

- It also seems to be the popular choice for 7.62/.308 TR shooters....although with this new TR140, we shall see....
