4 filled and 1 vacant. Only have 7 spaces in my cabinet but Tayside don't seem too hung up on cabinet capacity.
I have plans for another 5/6 slots but 2 of those are pistols/revolvers.
Would be curious to know where it states in the legislation exactly how many you are able to own?

Beds/Herts - 4 slots all filled- includes 1 pistol ( none for target though)
Also have 7 on SGC.
Not allowed any more unless seriously upgrade security, apparently.
Enough for the time being, I think.
Maybe when I know how to shoot I may feel differently...

Actually, that would be interesting, I haven't a clue. I always assumed there was never a limit, but it depended on your FLO and police service. Hell, one of the chaps in my gunclub has 6 gunsafes and about 12 pistol cabinates, and he's not an RFD, all personal FAC/S7 firearms.
Essex want an alarm installed in your house if you have over 10 guns. Is that the same everywhere?

11, all filled. Not sure what the situation would be re. security if I asked for more, hopefully I'll be in a position to find out soon.

Ostensibly, there is no limit. However, you need to give the good reason for each firearm held and have adequate security. And on the subject of that, there are some very "in vogue" aspects of security that firearms departments currently are pushing. Do yourself a favor and download a copy of the Firearms Security Handbook and you'll be amazed at how exaggerated feo's have become in this area.....

14 filled, two vacant.
One of the 'filled' slots is for 'Spare 7mm barrel' which took a little persuading. I had tried for .30 calibre spare barrel which would have left me lots of choices but my FEO wanted me to be more specific.
