If you are looking for a cheap clean fast and smooth powder then take a look at GM3 from Nobelsport. I reload several thousand cartridges a year for clay shooting and GM3 is fantastic. I use 24.4 grains under an ounce load with either a plastic or fibre wad. I also make my own shot so it works out very cheap indeed

I have just got my first batch of GM3 and have started with a load of 22 grns behind a lee 1 oz slug, which was a good starting point, if you would share your load data that would probrably help me quite a bit.
GM3 is certainly is clean burning and compared to other powders quite cheap. Do you know if Nobelsport make a powder suitable for a 308 rifle?

No I don't know, although they do a vast range including all the Vectan powders. If you send me an e mail address I will send you my load data
