Great vid :goodjob:

First thing I realised is that I did a base to ogive measurement thus not a true bearing surface measure

I had similar issues with closing the calipers consistently and the ogive is easy to force.
Alignment of the bullet was also hard :cool2:

The tool you and David made would appear to be
1. More accurate bearing surface
2. More accurate since the DTI arm spring can more consistently manipulated
3. Simply quicker to operate :clap:

Obviously after some thought :G
The "reverse ogive" off the boat tail woul have as much variation as the front ogive
so I expect once I get the David/spud tool i would re-assess each box and check the discrepancy

Lesson : the right tool for the right measures!

If youd like to order a comparator please could you send dave or me 2 bullets of each calibre/type yould like to use the comparater for

as for price well it wont be to bad
