The only time I "couldn't" shoot was when it was foggy at Bisley a month or two ago. (rocked up at 0800, first round down at about 1430 :( )

And the only time I chose not to shoot because of bad weather was at Connaught Ranges in Canada, when a lightning storm started rolling in. I suddenly became very aware of the long metal tube and bagful of explosive bits I was carrying!

When I used to shoot competitively I shot in just about every weather condition, from snow at Easter to 90+ degrees in Summer, rain, gale force winds etc., etc., .......now I have become a fair weather shooter, a little light rain is ok, but freezing cold or very wet, I stay at home, or sit in the car and watch the others "enjoying" their sport.

I shoot in all weathers but i am fussy about which of my "pretties" i shoot in the rain.

Not a fan of getting wet, but it won't stop me , bit of cold and wind no problem, but must be said much prefer a bit of sunshine,

I don't enjoy it, but it doesn't stop me either.

Shooting animals is different - if it rains whiel I'm out I continue and get wet; but if it's peeing down before I start I stay in - animals don't like the rain any more than I do!

We get that much rubbish weather up here and sp few days on the long MOD ranges that if you wanna shoot, you need to do it in all weather.

I'm with Dodgyrog, unless it's a competition, when the rain comes down, I go in.

No.Despite our range being outdoor the firing points are undercover so you stay dry.

I like to shoot when its shorts weather
