I think you need to check your bullit diameter.

Cheers for the replies, guys.

When I first started I made sure I met up with a mate who had been reloading for years, and years. He helped me set up everything and ran me through the process. So I think I technique is ok - but you're probably right - it might be the bullets.

Think I'll get me some other brand then S&B

Are you sure the bullits are .311 have you miked them.

Before you do any thing you need to mike your bullits and make sure they are all .311

Hi Tower - Do you clean the inside of the necks before or after you de-cap them?...I do mine quite vigorously, and found that doing it after de-capping (so also sizing) gave me a 'slacker' neck tension - It's obvious really, but when I first started .303 this year I loaded several batches before I realised the error.. :roll: :)

Clean... them? :? :lol:

I clean them all up before I do any resizing or deprimming. I've asked for new bullets for Christmas, so I'll try them :good:

Dear Santa,

You can keep your electric shaver, socks and ties - I want bullets, FMJ bullets...oh, and can the elves batch weigh and check the diameters before wrapping...... :P
