I kinda want to try that. Doesn't all the cack on the cases ruin your clothes, though?
Yep,works perfectly and no it dont mess your clothes. The amount of burn residue inside one spent cartridge is tiny-im talking literally a gnats cock amount-your clothes would harbour more dirt within the fibres than whats inside 40 or 50 cases.Because they're chanking around inside the sock it cleans the outside literally like they've been polished and biological washing powder strips all manner of crap out.Fabric softener is optional though because im not sure this counts as annealing.

Speed doesn't matter, not a jot.
Method, accuracy, consistency.
I'm slower than Vince, twenty rounds an hour, after I have cleaned the cases?
To be honest I have never timed myself, if I set aside and afternoon/evening for re-loading then that's it; a period of time preparing for my next outing.
Don't worry how long it takes you, worry how good the product is.

Lift bolt
Turn gun fractionally to left (I'm left-handed)
Pull bolt to rear, ejecting case onto mat
Drop butt to ground
Pick up empty case and insert in ammo box - keeps count of number of shots fired
Pick up live round and insert in breech
Push bolt forward
Pick up butt into shoulder
Close bolt
Total, about 10 seconds.
Of course, if I'm doing GR in .22" ...

I have been re loading for about 20 year I have no idea how long it takes me to re load any particular round.
All I know is when I go to my re loading room time just slips away and as long as I have plenty to eat and enough cups of tea every thing is fine.
If you are frustrated by how long it takes you to re load your rounds and you want them done like yesterday give it up its not for you.

Have never timed the process bit I always deprime, size and clean and then store until I need to load more. Makes the process easier I think. If I need 200 44mag then it takes as long as it takes.

Rifle, on the single stage, around an hour to do 50.
Pistol caliber for the carbines, around 350 to 400 an hour on the Dillon.....

That about like me - There's reloading, then there's RELOADING!
Rifle rounds on the the single stage = Ages
.357's on the turret = Chuck them out.
