Well, it looks like we have a worthy cause thanks to Dave!!

How about the a "Scotsgun's Kids Brass Fund"?

I'm sure I've got a couple of hundred old RG lying around somewhere.

You wouldn't believe what we have to go though now just for the kids to actually experience making simple models. A few of the kid's fathers who donate knackered aluminium components which we melt down and we've even been forced to break down pallets for timber.

Education, Education, Education.......its' a sick joke.
I have quite a bit of 38, 22 etc are they of any use?

Brass which cant be reloaded goes into a bin at the range and anyone can take it to be weighed in.I know one scrappie requires you to sign a disclaimed to certify theres no live ammunition in it.

Any split brass/spent shotgun cartridges i have at home goes into the normal household waste wheelie bin.I dont put it in the recycling bin because couple years back the local recycling plant was temporarily closed down due to a worker finding 'live ammunition'-which turned out to be a spent 12g case.Yes,there really are some dim people about and theres no point in giving the workers any additional breaks while the Police are called so they go into landfill.

7.62 RG are not as desirable as the MEN and DAG German stuff (which I do reload) and might as well be weighed in.
The 7,92 brass (if any left) I would like a few of, please.
Could swap for cast boolits?

I'm touched guys, but i think postage would prove expensive. I'll continue to raid the boxes of shooters closer to home.

Generally we take it all as it all goes into the melting pot - as long as its brass.

I mailed 7-8kgs of MEN out last year, they ended up in Italy so they must be worth something out there.
