223rem very accurate round and easy to reload and bullets and cases cheap.

Yep, a Raven then later I'll get a really good 223 upper for it but god knows where I'll find the room for it
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

I see that Wayne at NWS is advertising:
Anyone got any ideas? I would love a straight pull AR10, if the lower could also be used with a .223 and a .22lr that would be ideal. I will leave the crossbow option for the moment,

http://www.nwcustomparts.com/Here at NWCP we are very pleased to announce the imminent arrival of a brand new range of military straight pull rifles for the UK in both .223 and .308, available exclusively through us and our partner. More details will follow by the end of the week, this is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

I'm pretty sure almost all the major parts of an AR-10 aren't compatible with an AR-15 so i'd be (pleasantly) surprised if the uppers/lowers could be switiched.
I did look in to getting an AR-10 when i was after a .308 a while back but they were massively heavy and didn't offer much of an advantage over a mag fed bolt gun

LMT (Lewis Machine Tool) I believe, but if you know the cost of the standard 308 version in the States I dread to even imagine the £ equivalent of a straight pull variant.
At least one other person in the UK AR business looked at LMT some time ago. It didn't happen for a number of reasons.

CJ10 Welcome to the forum...haven't heard from you in ages!

Hi CJ10, welcome to F-B(UK) Have you started booking the winter dates for the long range meetings yet? (Assuming you are who I think you are!)
Re: yet another new gun pending maybe ....
Hi Dave, I am who you think I am! Landmarc will not be issuing dates until October. We will be submitting a block booking for Barton Road, Thetford, and Stanta shortly, once I've made sure there is no unnecessary overlap with kings Lynns" proposed dates.ovenpaa wrote:Hi CJ10, welcome to F-B(UK) Have you started booking the winter dates for the long range meetings yet?
