A "threat" from a single Tu-160 flying in international airspace!!!???, total non-news event as both sides have been doing these flights since the early years of the Cold War but it doesn't hurt to keep the sheeple fearful of those pesky Russians

Mid Wales rural areas with unlimited hills and valleys the RAF jet flyers just love rural ares.
Where I’m based again rural area we have simulated dog fights with jets competing with each other, prop trainers dog fighting, some days it’s comparable with the Battle of Britain, it can become extremely noisy.
Supposedly there’s a minimum height restriction of 200 feet anything below this you can report it, on many occasions you can wave at the pilot they are that low.
The farmers can get compensated for distressed injured cattle and sheep caused by low flying if they can prove it, farmers get compensated for breathing!

Nothing it like it used to be back in the 60's to 90's, when we actually still had an airforce (plus a lot more septics in UK then as well).....and if it wasn't for work and family ties, I'd love to live in among fast-jet training areas......wonderful. clapclap
Sad to think the RAF is now effectively reduced to just 3 x frontline fast-jet 'fighter' airfield bases, Marham, Coningsby and Lossiemouth.

Was at Cotswold wildlife park yesterday and saw one fly over.
Fairford is just a few miles away.
Didn't think they were still flying!

USAF don't intend to retire them until 2050.....!!!!!!!
(when they will be almost 90 years old)
