What do you intend to shoot? Gallery targets at 25 and 50 yards? Or full house magnum loads for metallic shilouette or rattle a gong at 300 yards? Guess what, your initial prep really precludes one of the choices.....

Well my indoor club is gallery at 25 however I do shoot factory magnum loads at present, and I have shot out to 100 yards with them, split would be good to reload for both so I could use them in both scenarios.

JSP. I asume you mean jacketed soft points if you are shooting at 25 yards will you be allowed to use jacketed bullets. My club only allows cast bullets on its 25 yard indoor range.

Alpha I have been shooting jacketed factory bullets up to now, as long as they are within the range limits for velocity and energy there are no issues.

I've used Ramshot True Blue for gallery loads. Should work well with stouter loads. There's also data for Ramshot Zip and Enforcer for 357magnum using jacketed 125gr bullets. I haven't shot full power loads much with my 357 so can't remember what worked well.

CCI magnum primers, as per their primer chart, states they should only be used with ball powder when the load recipe stipulates magnum primers.

You really dont need to be that hot for a gallery load...

Back in the pistol shooting days I used a variety of powders. Finally settled on a 150grn SWC bullet and 5 grn of Unique. Light, low recoil for the rapid fire stages and accurate out beyond 100yds.
