An email to Lee might be worthwhile.

mine broke quite early on, I just use a Lee universal decapping tool (and it doesnt need a mallet either razz )

I have a Lee Loader in .303 and .223, they are what I started out with a year ago. I now use a conventional bullet press for all parts of the reloading process - apart from when I decap and resize the necks, I use the Lee Loader for these steps. I neck size only.
To answer your question, the heads i use for .303 are Sierra Matchkings, 174grn .303 / .311. When I used the Lee Loader i noticed the heads were a nice snug fit into the Loader body. In my opinion there's not much chance of going much wider than .312, but have never tried so could easily be wrong.

But May not be good for the size bullet I need
Would I have been better off with collect dies instead
