My M1 carbine. I use fast pistol powder and lead bullets to keep the velocity down when shooting at my local gallery range. I use normal loads when shooting at any other range. The reduced loads are moving at around 1,300fps with a 115gr lead RN. The full power loads are moving at around 2,000fps with a jacketed RN.

I surprised myself at Sennybridge F range, the rear sight set to 3 was lobbing bullets on the ~300 yard target.

Here goes, lets see if we can not get this locked!

I bought my Steyr Aug Z SP because I wanted a straight pull, but the other choices were outside my budget at the time. The rifle is fitted with a trigger tamer (it's still a heavy pull to be honest!), charging handle and military barrel release modification: the scope is a Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x32 FFP with a EBR-1 reticle (MRAD) illuminated.
very nice, I do like the AUG. To make it perfect all you need is a right hand charging conversion done as shown below:

Cad Monkey, I prefer the left hand charging handle. Looking at your picture, is that a heavy barrel conversion?

Saiga 7.62 x 39 recently fitted Magpul Zhukov foldable and LOP adjustable stock, charging handle extension, Fab Defense grip and bullet ramp/mag release mod to allow standard AK mags. May fit a Mid West Industries handguard but holding off as like the current look although would like a bipod mount so may fit a stud to the lower hand guard. Kobra multi-recticle red dot (normally have a Primary Arms 1-6 ACSS on it).
