This winter season I'll be shooting at Dudley Rifle Club in the Hendon League.
Hopefully next year I'll look at joining Worcester Norton and joining in with some practical competitions. David keeps bugging me to get involved, so funds permitting I shall try to join in :)

Has anybody here have or tried the k22 race gun ?
Looking at maybe a k22 or another low mill ?

Yes I have one with a few extra bits done on it by Andy Haines.
Personally, I find the weight and balance of the K22 makes it feel more like a 'proper' pistol than anything else I've tried.
Had a few issues with extended magazines working as they should, but I think I've got that sorted now. Not a problem if you only need 10 shot capacity.

Cheers, need reliability with higher capacity mags for practical matches , using low mill at present but keep seeing good results with other shooters and k22,s
And have a slot , maybe another low mill to mess with or a good k22 ;-)
Ps ,
On the weight front , that's why I like the low mill
Nice and weighty in the hand .

The problems I had seem to have been resolved using Andy's mag conversion kits, so you can get 17+1 that way.
I don't mind a heavier pistol, but not when there's a significant amount of it poking out the front and back!

Very fair point ;-)
