There are very strict and quite effective controls on and tracing of functional firearms. The controls on functional ammunition are also very strict, though determining exactly how many legally-held rounds someone has without actually counting them is usually not possible ( how many of those recorded as being bought have been fired, just for instance). So it's likely that if a house was the home of a certificate holder and something happened to the holder, the police would be round pronto for the controlled items. Once they had those, they would not, in general and without evidence, be worried about uncontrolled components or the possible presence of illegal firearms.

Any recommendations for gun dealers in Bedfordshire or surrounding counties? In a perfect world someone fair & honest.

Don't try to sell them to an RFD if you want anywhere near the market value of them. They have to make a profit on them and will offer you way under value, and that's if they'd want to buy them at all. Best bet is to sell them on a forum like this or elsewhere. If they have packaging take some photos and get them in the For Sale section

You need 15 posts before you can sell something on this forum. If you can get your posts up, perhaps on this thread (given you're not interested in shooting) you should get enough to be able to post some pictures and offer them for sale. Unless given the circumstances admins want to make an exception and help facilitate you getting rid of the unwanted projectiles.
