Ok so it's been a very busy couple of months with work due to an inspection but I am now a free man!
I dismantled my bolt and set it in a tub of white spirits for a few hours and gave it a good brush down to clear any gunk out of it. I installed the new extractor and re assembled the bolt. I then soaked the bore and chamber with white spirits and proceeded to give the chamber a good brush. I only had a 30 calibre bronze bore brush that doesn't see any use so gave that a whirl. I dried out the chamber which looked nice and shiny. The bolt and lugs were greased up ready for a trip to the range.
I took it to the 100m range yesterday to see how she would fair and I am a very happy man! I managed to shoot a whole box of 50 rounds with zero issues! I let the chamber get nice and hot with a 15 round string and there were no sticky cases, 100% extraction.

Wipe the worst of the Cosmoline off and bung the parts in a dishwasher, they come out spotlessly clean.
