Think I may have found a donor rifle. The mount I am contemplating will not sit well with the purists. Probably not a good idea to post details.
Comrades are likely to go into melt down.

Short notice but would you be able to attend the Scotarms auction next week? Couple of Mosins with mounts but no 'scopes (catalogue does not specify what kind of mount) or, instead of weeing on the graves of Captain Sergei Mosin or Leon Nagant re-creating that 'orrible object, have a punt on that 'scoped M39?
