I have what must have been a special edition BSA pump action .22 , made in 1933 with Apel claw mounts and a German telescopic sight. Goes back to zero every time it is replaced. The little rifle also has big game type open sights (????) and a second interchangeable stock with a BSA number 8 aperture sight fitted. Jim Hallam used to have an identical one, so I know that this was a factory offering.

Re: Quick please mounts
I have used Arms, La Rue & ADM (American Defence Manufacturing) on centre fire rifles and have great results with all three coming back to 1/2 MOA or better. I would recommend all three and would just choose based on style and or price.
I have also used the Leupold QRW mounts on rimfire's and equally have had great results. However I would be tempted with the above three if using a heavier recoiling rifle.
