You have to watch short stroking them as they're basically revolvers.

Re: Something different... Sig P226 Air Pistol
I got around to shooting a target to see how accurate this pistol is. The target was a standard .22 prone position target which I folded over a steel plate. I knew the pistol was shooting low, so I aimed at the bullseye towards the top of the target and just let the pellets group below. The stand was placed around 10m away from the bench, this was not measured but a guess.Ovenpaa wrote:That looks interesting, have you tried it at 10m and if so how as it for aim and accuracy?
I had two different sets of pellets. Some leftover H&N Match pellets (unknown weight) and some Geco Diabolo. I used one target per pellet type. See the pictures below.
I wouldn't say this is bad at all, considering that this isn't a target pistol by any means and is more of a training tool for rapid fire drills. It has about 3"-4" drop at 10m but no facility to correct this. It definitely has no problem ringing steel at this distance!
In addition, I had around 6 full magazines (96) pellets before I noticed a drop in power which is much better than advertised. The range was cold too, so I was expecting a below average performance in terms of the life of the CO2 cartridge.

I have the sig p226 and don’t get me wrong it’s a lovely little air pistol- I use it with my kids for trigger discipline and safety manipulation. It’s got a fair trigger pull, good weight to the gun and quite a bang with the co2, but if I had to buy again I would go for a hi-Cappa as a training tool for the 1911 or the S&W mp 40 shield- offers much more with slide hold, field stripable and has a better magazine design.

Recently got a SwissArms mini Uzi in 6mm BB, CO2 powered at around 509fps and select-fire.Pretty much all steel and adjustable sights and pretty accurate......and full-auto is fun!!!.

Amazing! Would love to have something like that but our range doesn't allow the use of BB's, pellets only.

Oh, I’ve got a ton of airsoft kit. Brilliant fun in the summer. I run a little three gun course with blowback 6mm pistol, rimfire and Shotgun.

Does your garden allow the use of BB’s?WelshShooter wrote:Amazing! Would love to have something like that but our range doesn't allow the use of BB's, pellets only.
