The auction house is pretty much a general dealer, often dealing with estate sales. I'd guess its a collection given to them for sale by an executor, certainly seems to be more suited to a specialist sale.
Was Richard Marsh a known collector?

I felt the same, very poor descriptions and few images. I'd definitely go and have a look if I was a bit closer.

For those I've not message directly that are still interested in this auction.
I popped in yesterday for a look and so can confirm.
All the Deactivated firearms are to the newest EU standard and come with certificates (one can be seen below)
This means no moving parts (the only moving parts i found were the top cover and handles on the machine guns)
Otherwise everything looks to be in pretty decent condition.
A side note, it turns out that they also are a section 5 dealer, however they seem to deal mostly in taking guns from abroad for deactivation and wont sell any section 5 firearms in the UK.
So overall a worthwhile trip (even if i did strongly disagree with the the "firearm specialist"

If you remember if you could post a couple of prices, it would be appreciated. If those items are authentic like the SS visors, they're worth a fortune. £200 my arse! :)

Actually the more I look at those hats, the less authentic they look. Perhaps the guide price is correct.

Pity there's not a Suomi kp/31
About the only deact I'd give house space to!
That said....wonder if a straight pull would be feasible?
Mmm.
Off to look at parts availability.
