There are probably thousands of things taken with Amax every year in this country alone however my preference is always Vmax for their expansion for lighter stuff. I am still struggling to find a good 6,5mm 120-130 grain bullet with consistent expansion.

You have missed a couple of harsh frosts here.Duey wrote:Yep up north, but actually quite warm, but not unsurprisingly wet ! so not gone out stalking yet but should be out tomorrow regardless
Not intended to derail thread
Used Amax myself for vermin

Nothing against Amax but it still remains fact that they are illegal for use on game as the law currently stands in the U.K regardless of their suitability, so best just leave it well alone on public access forums

Makes a change for the better weather to be here but to be honest don't really care what it does up here as it's great to just wind down and get away from it all with the occasional stalk thrown in for good measure

well don't try the 130gr vld hunting bullets.they pass through for a pastime.worst hunting bullet I've ever used.accuracy wise superb.Ovenpaa wrote:There are probably thousands of things taken with Amax every year in this country alone however my preference is always Vmax for their expansion for lighter stuff.
