I have used plenty of the 200 and 240 gn plated type when I had a 44.
The 200gn could get up to 2100fps with W296/H110.
Never had any fouling problems with them.
I might still have some left over.

At £53/100? that's over 3x the cost of reloading using 245gr Plated bullets and over 4x the cost using 200-240gr lead!

he wants to use jacketed around £26 per 100 buy ppu he has a 100 loaded plus he will be left with brass simples

BlackRifle usually has the 240gr plated LOS bullets, for targets they work just as well as jacketed, £28/250

Or if you know anyone going to Rotterdam Bold Action have them at €103/1000

I've already got loads of brass,primers,and powder. Plus I enjoy making them.


So plated is fine?

Rock on, I am 10km away from there and might just have a taxi ride over, on Wednesday and bag a box of them.
