Thank you. I have another question. Due to being a bit thick I recently made 150 round using the wrong recipe. Good news is I'm now an expert bullet puller.
The question is on storage I have two amo safes and have been able to fit the trays in. Do I need to lock primed cases away or indeed primers?

Are you sure? I've always assumed because they were a controlled component, they should be, whether sat in a primer pocket or in the primer tray.

You should not assume anything. Does no body you shoot with re load you should be asking them.
No. You do not have to lock primers away.
A primed case is not a live round.
You are not going to kill any body with a empty primed case. 100 primers sat in a primer reloading tray represent no threat to any body. I have thousands of primers I keep them in a drawer.

There's nothing wrong with assuming they should be locked away and erring on the side of caution is there? Yes most of them reload and I've never heard of anyone who keeps them in a desk drawer, hence the question. I have thousands of them too, but they're all in the ammo safe. Others on here do the same.
